A large group of members spent a very enjoyable morning at the Monkland Cheese Diary. Firstly we met for a drink, then we had an interesting tour to see the cheese being made, this morning it was some Blue Monk and also the garlic and chive cheese. We also went into the cheese stores to see how the cheese is matured, plenty of bacteria is required! Finally we had a ploughman's lunch upstairs in the café. A very pleasant time. We gave Judy her card as she is 70 on Wednesday!
